  20. I just don't get the problem around timecode and the Flyer.

  22. VTASC is NTSC compliant, 60 fields/sec.  Right?  Shouldn't the hard/software
  23. accommodate VITC?  All you're really asking for is two lines of video... 17
  24. and 19 in the VBI.  Uncompressed.  Have the hardware stream the data to
  25. the Amiga/PC.  Let the computer chase the data.

  29. If NewTek plans to release a nonlinear device without timecode (let 
  30. alone audio support)... it'll really be 'payback time'.  The industry 
  31. just won't accept anything less.

  33. I would rather NewTek send the Flyer back to R&D for 3-6 months.  NewTek 
  34. has a pivoting opportunity to carve a large cornerstone in NonLinear 
  35. history.  Better a delayed product than ruffled first impressions.
